Dalai Lama (via seulray)
There is only one important point you must keep in your mind and let it be your guide. No matter what people call you, you are just who you are. Keep to this truth. You must ask yourself how is it you want to live your life. We live and we die, this is the truth that we can only face alone. No one can help us, not even the Buddha. So consider carefully, what prevents you from living the way you want to live your life?
I swear humans are the most gullible species on the planet. Money doesn’t really exist, laws don’t really exist, country borders don’t really exist, it’s all just a massive belief system that we follow because…. why? Human life shouldn’t be dictated by number value, no one owns the land, no one owns anyone else’s minds. We are so fucked up as a species it makes me sick.
Everyone wants to be the sun to lighten up everyone’s life, but why not be the moon, to brighten in the darkest hour.
we could be married with like 4 kids and i’d still be too scared to text you first
i want to talk to you but i don’t want to be annoying do you see my problem
I wanted to be a writer, that’s all. I wanted to write about it all. Everything that happens in a moment. The way the flowers looked when you carried them in your arms. This towel, how it smells, how it feels. This thread. All our feelings, yours and mine. The history of it, who we once were. Everything in the world. Everything all mixed up, like it’s all mixed up now.
Michael Cunningham, The Hours (via poetrist)
It all comes down to the last person you think of at night. That’s where your heart is
To be loved, I think, is the thing that gets you up in the morning.

do you ever feel yourself being annoying or antisocial but you just cant stop
i hate when people complain about how technology is “ruining everything.” i have over 200 pictures of my dog on my phone and i can send them to my friends when they are sad. how is that ruining anything. why do you hate happiness
Songs are as sad as the listener.
